This week we look at some of the more important events during the American Revolution. Yesterday, students made battle maps and plans for the Battle of Bunker Hill from the British perspective.Today, we look at Valley Forge. Students will read primary documents from Valley Forge, answer questions about the documents, then write an essay to answer the question: "What hardships did the soldiers face at Valley Forge?". The essay will be in 5-paragraph form.
Evidence for the essay will come from the primary documents that include letters and diaries.
