The Electoral College

Now that you have had a little taste of how the Electoral process works for presidential candidates, let's take a closer look.  Today, you will have a hand-out (see link below) about the Electoral College.
The Founding Fathers were not too sure that the common man would be able to select the best candidate for the job.  As a result, we have a process in which we choose electors at the state level to choose the president of the United States.  Some people feel the Electoral College is out dated, and should be replaced with the popular vote.
